What's Beyond Breathing when breathing isn't helpful?
Let's face it, breathing isn't going to be what you need to calm, soothe, and recover from the stresses or triggers of daily life.
I'm sure you've been there, perhaps quite often, when you try breathing yourself calm to get through a difficult time but it's either really hard to take deep breaths or it just really isn't enough to help. I know I have.
This is what I mean when I say "There's no 'one size fits all' to perfectly calm and soothe every stress".
It's a practical skill to improve your whole human experience to figure out what works to calm and soothe you while you are NOT stressed so you know how to respond to your needs in moments of stress.
You need a variety of tools [not ALL of them, just what works for YOU] because what usually works, like a particular pattern of breathing, may not work in every stressful situation or emotion.
